1. Push the ball out diagonal with the outside of your striking foot.
2. Little steps to set your feet for ONE big explosive step. This generates the power.
3. Strike the ball with your laces.
4. Hit through just below the mid-line of ball.
5. Short, compact swing.
6. Keep your shoulders over the ball to keep the ball down.
A well struck ball will:
- Have backspin
- Be around head-level or below
- Have a good deal of pace and power on it
- Travel 20-30 yards in the air
